Dalit literature can heralda positive change: Speakers

Lucknow: Dalit literature plays a key role in making people aware about problems being faced by marginalized sections and how social justice can be proved as a remedy.This was a unanimous call by panelists during the session ‘Contemporary dalit literature and its impact’ organized as part of the Bhagidari Sahitya Utsav at Bhagidari Bhawan on Sunday.Dalit litterateurs Sheoraj Singh Bechain and Sharan Kumar Limbale, writer and bureaucrat Hariom were in a conversation with Preety Chaudhari during the session. Hariom said that dalit literature is not just written by a dalit writer, it is the literature which brings out problems of dalits and shows the way to the society in bringing a positive change.
