Additional chief judicial magistrate had directed the Gomtinagar police for registration of an FIR against the duo on August 27, 2009 on the application filed by farmer Ram Kumar under section 156(3) of the CrPC. The applicant had charged the two for assaulting him when he objected them from illegally possessing his land in Vijaipur village in Gomtinagar.
“Shashank’s brother Mudit had got his land transferred in his name by presenting a fake person in his place”, the petitioner had alleged. The application was allowed but the FIR was not registered then as the state government had preferred revision against the said order.
