Contempt notice to Alahabad CMO

allahabad: allahabad high court has issued contempt notice to chief medical officer (cmo), allahabad dr s p ram, asking him to show cause, as to why the proceeding for contempt of court be not initiated against him for not complying with an order, passed by the court on august 29, 2001. justice r k agrawal, passed this order, on a contempt petition, filed by kaushal kishor bhatt, presently posted as junior engineer in the office of the cmo, allahabad. according to the petition, the court on august 29, 2001, had directed the petitioner to file representation regarding his transfer before the concerned authority, who would decide on the same within three weeks. the court has further directed that till the representation of the petitioner is decided, the order of the transfer will be kept in abeyance. the petitioner, alleged that the interim order, passed by the high court was not complied with.
