2-day event explores plans to combat cyber threat in state
Lucknow: The two-day event ‘Cyber Safe Uttar Pradesh,' organised by the Future Crime Research Foundation (FCRF), concluded at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan on Friday. Bringing together law enforcement officials, cybersecurity experts, and industry leaders, the event explored strategies to combat cyber threats.
During the closing ceremony, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya praised the initiative for equipping police officers across the state with essential cybersecurity training. Director of Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Sciences, GK Goswamy, addressed emerging threats such as AI-enabled crimes and cyber slavery.
Zonal manager for North-East, Fraud Prevention Unit at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, Ashish Verma, provided insights on tackling financial fraud and enhancing digital security. Meanwhile, organiser of the event, Triveni Singh, emphasised the importance of public-private collaboration in addressing law enforcement challenges discussed during the event's panel discussions.
