Code of conduct violation case against Daljeet

LUCKNOW: A case for violating the model code of conduct was lodged against general secretary of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) here. The case was lodged against Sardar Daljeet Singh, in Hussainganj police circle.
According to the complaint lodged, Daljeet Singh exceeded the time limit for giving his speech. Another code that Singh violated was installing his party's flag on the electric and telephone poles.
The police also said that both these things done by Singh during his election speech violated the code of conduct and hence a case under Section 188 of IPC was registered against him.
