Uttar Pradesh: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath orders probe into graft plaints

With complaints of corruption pouring in from various departments, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered an inquiry into three cases: corruption in the animal husbandry department and reports of irregularities in transfers and postings in the health department and PWD.

LUCKNOW: With complaints of corruption pouring in from various departments, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered an inquiry into three cases: corruption in the animal husbandry department and reports of irregularities in transfers and postings in the health department and PWD.
A government official said that various additional chief secretary level officials have been deputed to submit reports on the three cases within the next three to seven days.

“The complaint of corruption in the animal husbandry department worth Rs 50 crore is from 2021-22 and was highlighted by ACS Rajneesh Dubey,” he said.
The matter of irregularities of postings and transfers in the health department were highlighted by the department minister Brajesh Pathak.
