CM directs ministers to visit dists, highlight govt works
Lucknow: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday directed the ministers to visit their assigned districts, hold review meetings and ensure that people are informed about the work done by the BJP govt since it came to office in UP in 2017. The execise is part of the preparations for the next year's Assembly elections.
At a meeting with the ministers on Monday morning, the CM directed them to ensure that gas cylinders are readily available to people. A minister said that they will be visiting their districts and ensuring coordination with supply agencies to make sure that every eligible beneficiary gets a cylinder at home.
The ministers have also been directed to continue to closely monitor the Special Intensive Revision of the electoral rolls and ensure that those whose names were left out of the first draft are able to submit Form 6 to the Election Commission and get their names included.
"During the meeting, the CM appreciated the work done by all departments. He said that some times when a govt does good work, people do not come to know about it. Now, all the work done by govt in the past nine years should be taken to the people and assured them that when BJP returns to office next year, all their issues will be resolved," said another minister.
The ministers were also told to review ongoing and pending works related to all departments in their respective districts. They were also asked to ensure that funds for the current financial year are utilised before the end of the year.
