City group bonds over music and dance

Lucknow: Remembering five glorious years of community, culture and friendship, The Lucknow Connection Worldwide celebrated its fifth foundation day at a prominent city hotel on Sunday.
Around 38 members of the group were honoured with awards for their contribution to the growth and development of the group. A special achievement award was presented to Meenu Khare, former programme head of Akashvani. Senior admin of the group, Anil Shukla, narrated the inspiring journey of the group while highlighting its online and offline activities. Cultural performances were also held .
Rajendra Panwar presented a dance performance, while Rashmi Mishra led ‘Mehfil e Lucknow' and Rajeev Kumar Saxena organised an Antakshari session. Dean of Academics at LU, Prof Arvind Mohan, former DG CRPF, AP Maheshwari, historian Ravi Bhatt, public speaker Harihar Mishra and renowned journalist and writer Pradeep Kapoor were present on the occasion.
