Child suffers head injuries in bull attack

A six-year-old boy was gored by a stray bull on Friday, and was discharged from the hospital on Saturday. The victim, of Rustam Nagar Colony in Saadatganj, was in a state of shock and hasn't spoken a single word since the incident. "The boy was admitted in a critical condition injuries were found on his chest left eye and head he was put on a ventilator through ct scan we found a hairline fracture in his head that doesn't requires any surgery," said kgmu spokesperson Sudhir Singh. The victim's father, Babar Hussain, said, "Sajid is a brave boy but after the incident he has not spoken a single word. I could never imagine that such a thing could happen to my boy." The incident took place around 2 pm on Friday, when LMC's cattle catching squad were catching the bull. Lucknow: A six-year-old boy, who suffered hairline fracture in his skull after being gored by a stray bull on Friday, was discharged from hospital on Saturday.
The victim, Sajid of Rustamnagar colony in Saadatganj, was in a state of shock and hasn’t spoken a single word after the incident.
“The boy was admitted in a critical condition. Injuries were found on his chest, left eye and head.

He was put on a ventilator. Through CT scan we found a hairline fracture in his head that doesn’t requires any surgery. The boy was discharged on Saturday. Doctors have recommended medicines and he will recover soon,” said KGMU spokesperson Sudhir Singh.
Victim’s father Babar Hussain said: “Sajid is a brave boy but after the incident he has not spoken a single word. I could never imagine that such a thing could happen to my boy.”
The incident took place around 2 pm on Friday, when LMC’s cattle catching squad were catching the bull. Seeing the squad, the bull ran away toward Buniyad Bagh open ground where children were playing.

Head of animal husbandry department of LMC Arvind Kumar Rao said: "It was an unfortunate accident and we had given Rs 30,000 to the victim’s family for treatment."
