'Cheated' businessman kills self

LUCKNOW: A 45-year-old marble trader allegedly ended his life at his Mahanagar house on Monday. In his suicide note, Rahul Pandey said he was depressed after being duped in a land deal by a history-sheeter. Pandey lived with his wife Arti, daughters Ananya, 15, and Ana, 6, mother Malti and brother Ritesh in Mahanagar and had a marble business in Rajasthan.
On Monday, when Ananya and Arti returned after visiting an acquaintance, they found Pandey hanging from a rope in the garage.The duo brought the body down and informed the family doctor who declared him dead and informed police. No injury marks were found on the body.
