UK, Maha & UP chapters of Overseas Friends of BJP celebrate party’s victory
The Overseas Friends of BJP UK (OFBJPUK), Maharashtra chapter, joined hands with OFBJPUK, UP Chapter, organized a grand event in East London to celebrate the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh.The event witnessed an overwhelming response from the Maharashtrian and UP diaspora across London, with over 100 attendees participating in the celebration.The programme began with ‘jyot prajwalan (lighting of ceremonial map) and moved forward with a series of vibrant cultural performances. Young members from UP delivered a captivating solo dance, while participants from Maharashtra performed the iconic song, ‘Jayosstute' by Veer Savarkar, adding patriotic fervour to the celebrations.Veteran OFBJPUK leader Madhukar Ambekar, along with vice-president Anand Aarya and general secretary Suresh Mangalagiri, delivered thought-provoking speeches, inspiring the audience with their insights on the BJP's achievements and vision.Attendees also enjoyed a lavish lunch, DJ music, and a dance party. The ‘mahila mandal' (women's group) played a pivotal role in the event.The participants assured unconditional support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Devendra Fadnavis, who is set to take oath as Maharashtra CM on Thursday.The participants shouted slogans like ‘Modi ji, Yogi ji, Devendra ji tum aage badho hum tumhare saath hain'.This event was the first joint initiative by the OFBJPUK Maharashtra and UP Chapters to engage with the diaspora in East London.The Overseas Friends of BJP UK (OFBJPUK), Maharashtra Chapter, was led by Kuldeep Shekhawat, Suresh Mangalagiri, Maharashtra chapter was represented by convener Tushar Joge, Santosh Parkar, Prashant Shirode, Nikhil Pampatwar, Rishi Gothankar, Abhijeet Kothiwale, Sanjay Navagale and Sushil Dokwal. OFBJPUK, UP Chapter, was led by convener Rajesh Vishwakarma, Hridesh Gupta, Gyan Sharma, Vaishali, Dhirendra, and Arpit.
