CBI raids Madhumani's residence

LUCKNOW: The Central Bureau of Investigation, probing the high-profile poetess Madhumita Shukla case, today raided the residence of Madhumani, wife of former minister Amarmani Tripathi, who was wanted in this case and is absconding.
"We have pasted a summon outside Madhumani''s lucknow residence, asking her to appear before us in person," a CBI official told reporters here on Sunday.
He said the summon was pasted after Madhumani was found absconding. Only few domestic helps of Madhumani were present in the house, he said.
"A CBI team has been rushed to Gorakhpur in search of Madhumani. We have yet to receive any information about the whereabout of Madhumani," he said.
