Lucknow: A case of murder was registered in
Thakurganj
police station on Wednesday following the death of a boy. Sixteen-year-old
Aman Ali stayed with his family at
Azadnagar
locality in
Balaganj
. On Tuesday evening, around 8pm, Aman stepped out to meet his friends.
A couple of hours later, his father received a phone call. "The call was made by Aman's friend," said
Samar Bahadur
, station officer of Thakurganj. Aman's health had reportedly deteriorated and his father rushed him to KGMU's trauma centre. However, doctors declared the boy dead on arrival.
The family staged a protest next day in Balaganj, demanding action against Faizal, Pervez and
Ismail
, who had called his father the previous night. Police said a case had been registered. Since autopsy examination did not specify the cause of death, vital parts have been preserved for viscera examination.
