Blood bank refutes STF claim, says no bags missing

internal audit

carried out on October 13, contradicting the claims of

STF

that the accused used to steal blood bags from the blood bank.


The private blood bank is part of BNK hospital located near Daliganj crossing.

The hospital and blood bank are functional since 13 years, claimed a hospital official wishing not to be named.

When TOI questioned whether the blood bags used by the accused had been taken from the blood bank, the managed said that it was not possible as he had got an audit done on October 12 and no discrepancy was found in the audit.

He said that the accused had done a diploma course of lab technician and had also shown some experience certificates at the time of getting employed.
