BJP holds ‘taheri bhoj’ on Atal’s birth anniversary

Lucknow: A meeting of BJP workers and a ‘taheri bhoj’ was organised at Kudiya Ghat in Lucknow to mark the birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The party also felicitated senior members who have had the opportunity to work with Vajpayee.
Former deputy CM Dinesh Sharma and president of the Lucknow Mahanagar wing of the party Mukesh Sharma were the chief guests at the event.
Senior party workers like Ashutosh Tandon, MLA Neeraj Bora, mayor Sanyukta Bhatia paid floral tributes to Vajpayee.“Vajpayee resides in our hearts. His simplicity, gentleness and respect towards all party workers is an inspiration for all of us,” Sharma said.
Mukesh Sharma said that the celebration to mark Vajpayee’s birthday at Kudiya Ghat was started years back and continues till today.
