Lucknow: The ongoing exhibition-cum-competition of photography at
Kala Srot Art Gallery
has been a huge draw among people.
'Star Trail', one of the entries adorning the walls of the gallery, is already a hot favourite.
The three-day event has been organized by The
Youth Photojournalist Association
(TYPA), a group of amateur photojournalists of the city and is on till Sunday.
Talking about 'Star Trail', the man behind it,
Aman Yadav
, said, "You need to be patient after setting the camera on the tripod for long exposures so that it captures the steady motion of stars in a cloud-free sky."
Another photograph, the close-up of a hand with the rest of the body of a labourer buried under rubble after an accident at
Butchery Ground
, reveals the helplessness of a man close to death.
Pawan Kumar's 'Love and Chaos' shows the serenity of the Taj juxtaposed with the chaos that is city life. It is the only drone view photo in the series. "Drone views are captured from a height to give a different perspective," said photojournalist Subir Roy.

Krishna Kumar, who was in the news for being assaulted by a policeman last year, is also on display.
Unique techniques coupled with a myriad of expressions helped amateur photographers capture life as they saw it through their lens. Silhouettes and bird's eye views are also among the unique collection of photographs at the exhibition.
