Baby show upholds health, well-being

Lucknow: Laughter, colourful balloons and excited parents filled the front lawn of a city hospital as it hosted a Baby Show and Children's Carnival on Sunday. As many as 124 children participated in programme led by Dr Sandeep Kapoor, co-founder and managing director of Health City Vistaar Hospital, who stressed community activities for physical and emotional well-being of children.Paediatricians Dr Sanjay Niranjan and Dr Neeta Bhargava were chief guests and they highlighted importance of early childhood care, timely health check-ups and parental awareness.Baby show was in three age groups — below 1 year, 1–3 years and 3–6 years. Children enjoyed a magic show, fun games and interactive activities, while parents took part in a special quiz. Gifts were distributed to all participants. Dr Niranjan Kumar, Dr Monika Kar and Dr Ashutosh Pandey were also present at the event.
