Samajwadi Party's Muslim face and UP's senior minister zam Khan has expressed disappointment over the party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav's decision to nominate the former SP leader mar Singh to the Rajya Sabha.

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party's Muslim face and UP's senior minister zam Khan has expressed disappointment over the party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav's decision to nominate the former SP leader mar Singh to the Rajya Sabha. On Wednesday, zam described mar's nomination as unfortunate.
"The move will show the Samajwadi Party in poor light. But it is Netaji (Mulayam)'s decision and he is the head of the party," zam said adding that it was beyond his capacity to challenge decision of the party chief.TNN P 6
zam had opposed mar Singh's nomination during the party's central parliamentary board meeting held on Tuesday , where SP chief finalized the list of candidates for the Rajya Sabha.

fter the meeting was over, a visibly upset zam rushed out without talking to the waiting media. He left for Rampur later in the day.
Talking to the media persons in Rampur on Wendesday, zam made no bones about his displeasure over mar Singh's return. bout possibilities of expelled SP MP Jaya Prada's re-entry into the SP, zam said: "Will accept whatever the future has in store for me." The Bollywood actresswas expelled from the party along with her mentor mar Singh for six years in 2010. zam had openly opposed Jaya Prada during the 2009 Lok Sabha elections which she contested as an SP candidate from Rampur. The move had led to zam's expulsion from the party in May 2009 which was eventually revoked in December 2010.
