Lucknow: Japan’s eminent Hindi activist and Padma Shri recipient, Tomio Mizokami and socialist thinker Deepak Mishra, president of United Nations Hindi Jan Abhiyan, will be honoured with the Vishwa Hindi Ratna by the Global Hindi Teacher's Forum. Professor Deepak Rai, general secretary of Hindi Shikshak Manch, said that the duo will be honoured on World Hindi Day. Both Mishra and Mijokami have been selflessly engaged for the last two decades to strengthen Hindi at the global level.Mizokami is one of the few foreign recipients who have been awarded the Padma Shri.
With the aim of creating public opinion for Hindi, every year since 2000, Mishra visits two non-Hindi speaking states and two foreign countries and conducts dialogues.
