Auspicious opportunity to serve millions at Maha Kumbh: Adani
Prayagraj: Days after performing 'seva' in Iskcon camp at Maha Kumbh Mela, billionaire industrialist Gautam Adani on Friday said the world's largest religious gathering in Prayagraj was an auspicious opportunity to serve the devotees.
In a post in Hindi on X, Adani said: "We are blessed to have the auspicious opportunity to serve millions of devotees on the divine occasion of Maha Kumbh. Service is sadhna, service is prayer and service is God. May the blessings of Maa Ganga remain on all of us."
Along with his family members, including wife Priti, who is chairperson of the Adani Foundation, his son Karan; daughter-in-law Paridhi and his granddaughters, Adani visited the tent city on Tuesday. His younger son, Jeet Adani, was also present.
Adani also took a dip in Sangam and offered prayers. Overwhelmed by the spiritual experience, he claimed it was "amazing, unique and supernatural".
Taking to his X account, the industrialist also presented a 52-second video showcasing the significant aspects of this event, which takes place every 12 years in Prayagraj.
The footage revealed that the Adani Group and Iskcon were providing "Mahaprasad" (sacred meal) to one lakh visitors daily at Maha Kumbh.
