Artworks of teacher put on display
Lucknow: As many as 101 artworks of Lalita Pande, a chemistry teacher by profession, were displayed in a solo art day long exhibition at Kaifi Azmi Academy on Monday. The paintings were made with acrylic and oil colours on canvas and with pen on ivory paper. The paintings included folk art forms- Madhubani, Warli, Gond, Kalamkari, Kumauni Aipan along with landscapes and abstract art. Senior artist Awadhesh Mishra was the chief guest.
