Alok Ranjan appointed APC

LUCKNOW: In a major administrative reshuffle, UP government on Tuesday transferred 18 IAS officers.
VK Sharma, chairman and managing director of PICUP was appointed chairman, Board of Revenue, a post, which was lying vacant for the last one month.
RK Sharma, agriculture production commissioner (APC) has been made chairman and managing director of PICUP, while Alok Ranjan, principal secretary, urban development, environment and home guard will be the new APC.
Durga Shankar Mishra, principal secretary to the chief minister, who also held the charge of principal secretary, commercial tax, entertainment tax, civil aviation, has been divested of the charge of principal secretary, commercial tax and entertainment tax. He has been given additional charge of principal secretary, urban development department.
Vranda Swarup, principal secretary, technical education and labour has been transferred to the finance department as principal secretary-1. Shailesh Krishna, principal secretary, vocational education has been given the additional charge of principal secretary, labour. VN Garg, principal secretary, infrastructure and industrial development department gets the additional charge of industrial development commissioner.
Kumar Kamlesh, secretary, home and director general, jail administration has been made principal secretary, home guard department, while JB Sinha, secretary, PWD, has been given additional charge of environment.
Chandra Bhanu, secretary to the chief minister and commercial tax commissioner, has been given additional charge of secretary, commercial tax and entertainment tax.
Sanjay Prasad, member (judicial), Board of Revenue, Lucknow, who has been posted has secretary, technical education, has been replaced by Kamran Rizvi, cane commissioner.
Santosh Kumar Yadav, chairman PACT and director training and employment has been divested of the charge of director, training and employment. He has been given additional charge of cane commissioner.
Anil Kumar-2, member (judicial), Board of Revenue, Allahabad, gets the charge of director, training and employment, while Sanjay Dubey, commissioner and secretary, Board of Revenue, UP, Lucknow, has been posted as secretary, industrial development department.
L Venkateshwar Lu, commissioner, Moradabad, has been made commissioner and secretary, Board of Revenue, Lucknow, while Gurdeep Singh, principal secretary, department of national integration, is the new commissioner of Moradabad division.
