AKTU semester results to be declared in a month
Lucknow: Students at colleges affiliated with Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will no longer have to wait more than three weeks for semester results as the university has adopted "parallel evaluation" to speed up result declarations. The university has set a target to declare results in record time from the 2025–26 academic session. The examination cell has prepared a plan under which, by the time students take their last paper, results for the first exam conducted will already be announced.
"The university administration has made a major change in the examination system this time and is prepared to release results during the examination period itself. Students will start receiving their results within a month of completing their exams," said AKTU controller of examinations Deepak Nagaria. He said the university is implementing a new strategy in which evaluation begins while exams are still underway, enabling results to be released simultaneously. The target is to declare all results within a month. AKTU semester examinations are being held from Dec 23 to Jan 31. Answer sheets for exams conducted so far have been scanned and digital evaluation has begun. The university said evaluation of Dec exams will be completed and results will be declared from next week.In recent years, the university's examination system has faced delays. In the last session, results for several courses were declared three months late, causing difficulties for students, many of whom visited the university repeatedly. The administration cleared pending results and introduced comprehensive changes to evaluation and result-declaration process from new session.
