Lucknow: The 19th alumni lecture series at the Lucknow University's chemistry department featured Ved Srivastava, MSc chemistry alumnus,1980 and chief technology officer at Perpetual Medicines, US on Wednesday.
He delivered a lecture on 'How AI is transforming future of Peptide-Based Medicines', highlighting AI's role in drug development and the growing peptide therapeutics market.
Ved said, "Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing peptide-based drug discovery, enabling faster and more precise development of therapeutics. With AI-driven computational models, we can predict protein structures and design novel peptides with unprecedented accuracy. This transformative shift is paving the way for treatment in metabolic diseases and beyond."
