Afraid of defeat in 2027 polls, top BJP members using foul language: Akhilesh
Times News Network
Lucknow: Sensing defeat in 2027 polls, a nervous BJP top rung in govt and in the organisation have started using unparliamentary and indecent language, said SP chief Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday.
The former CM said the BJP has miserably failed on all fronts in governance and in order to avoid answering questions that people are asking, senior party functionaries use unparliamentary language in public discourse.
“BJP’s allies are indulging in undemocratic conduct and using indecent language and bringing disrepute to the posts which they are holding,” Akhilesh said in a statement. He said such diversionary tactics will not help BJP govt up its failures and the people of the state will vote them out in 2027.
“It appears that BJP govt and its alliance partners are also disrespecting the people of UP as well,” Akhilesh said. He said corruption is at its peak and all that the BJP and its allies have done during this time was to spread and promote hatred, discrimination and disparity.
“As a result, corruption is at its peak. Law and order is in shambles and criminals are having a field day committing sensational crimes at will. Tehsils and police stations have become centres of corruption. Medical health services have been completely destroyed. Hospitals are ill-equipped to treat patients and don’t have medicines for the ailing. Education system has been crippled. Examinations and recruitments are no longer transparent,” Akhilesh said.
The SP chief said the government has failed to meet the promises of doubling farmers income leaving them reeling under fertilizer and seed shortage.
Akhilesh voices support for CJP protest at Jantar Mantar
Akhilesh Yadav backed the Cockroach Janta Party protest in Delhi, saying that the youth of today represent a call for change. “The foundations of the existing system were beginning to crack and that young people have now started a revolution,” Akhilesh said in a post on X.
He underlined that there was a need to address the root of the problem and handling on the visible branches of these roots will not suffice. Akhilesh said in order to achieve the “actual freedom” the very origin of the problem will have to be addressed to achieve real freedom, progress and justice. “One nation, one voice means revolution,” Akhilesh wrote.
