Abbas helps TOIenter SFs of T-20cricket tourney

Lucknow: Abbas Rizvi's all-round show helped The Times of India register a thumping victory over Dainik Jagran and enter the semi-finals of the Ekana Media T20 Cricket Tournament.TOI became the first team to qualify for the semi-finals. Abbas, who was declared ‘Man of the Match', played a match-winning knock of 39 runs and also picked up two wickets.Batting first after winning the toss, TOI scored 153 runs losing four wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Rizvi scored 39 runs with the help of six boundaries. Vivek Chauhan and Ishtiaq Raza scored 31 and 13 runs respectively. Rishi Sengar scored 37 runs. Dainik Jagran's Prashant Chaturvedi took two wickets for 25 runs.In reply, Dainik Jagran could score only 117 runs in 20 overs at the loss of nine wickets.
