Uttar Pradesh polls: AAP campaign to roll out with hi-tech caravan

LUCKNOW: The Aam Aadmi Party campaign moved to a hi-tech caravan on Saturday, sporting a large ‘UP Mein Bhi Kejriwal’ logo. The van, which was used by party MP and UP in-charge Sanjay Singh for campaigning in Lucknow on Saturday, will head to eastern UP after February 21 and move from district to district like a ‘rath yatra’, said sources.
“The full size caravan has exterior branding and a stage on top of the vehicle.This will be used by the party’s star campaigners during campaign. It has an inbuilt sound system and will play the party’s songs,” said party spokesperson Vaibhav Maheshwari.
Sources said, Singh will now use the caravan for all further campaigning, especially during roadshows.
