Lucknow: 5 held for loot of jewellery, cash from property dealer

LUCKNOW: Five miscreants who allegedly held a property dealer hostage at knife-point and looted cash and jewellery from his office were nabbed by Hussainganj police on Tuesday.

The accused were identified as Ishan Prabhakar, Tausif Qureshi, Hasnain, Taufeek and Nasir Ali. They were arrested with the help of CCTV footage which showed that three masked men entered the shop, while two waited outside on two-wheelers. Police traced the numbers of two-wheelers to track the accused.

ACP Hazratganj Akhilesh Singh said that the accused confessed to have committed the crime because of the financial crisis. TNN
