40th taekwondo tourneyset to commence today

Lucknow: The Taekwondo Academy of India is organizing the 40th National Taekwondo Championships and the 26th National Poomsae Taekwondo Championship at KD Singh Babu Indoor Stadium here from June 9 to June 11 under the aegis of the Taekwondo Federation of India. Sudhir S Halwasiya, chairman of the organizing committee said that about 700 players and officials from all over India will participate in the championships. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, finance minister Suresh Kumar Khanna and sports minister Girish Chandra Yaday will inaugurate the function on June 9. A.K. Sharma, minister of nagar vikas and.
