320 take part in bicycle rally for health awareness

Lucknow: Around 320 cyclists took part in a bicycle rally organized at Govt Girls Intermediate College road in Indiranagar by the International Sports and Martial Arts School India under the aegis of the Samagra Foundation on Sunday.The rally, organized to create health awareness among the youth, was divided in kids, junior and senior categories. Anurag Bajpayee of the District Bicycle Association announced the names of the winners.Chief guest Praveen Garg gave away bicycles to the first prize winners in different categories and sports kits and water bottles to the bicyclists who secured the second and third position.Special guest R G Yadav, chairman B K Intermediate College and SP Singh, director of pharmacy, RML Awadh University, distributed medals and mementoes to all the participants. Corporator Kamal Pandey laid stress on promoting health awareness among the people.tnn
