Lucknow: As many as 30 students who won prizes in various categories in the India Inquisitive Quiz were felicitated by the district administration at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan on Saturday.
The two-day quiz event was organised by the administration to motivate people to vote in the Assembly elections.
There were three categories in which 350 teams from the district had taken part. Those who secured the top six places were felicitated by chief secretary Durga Shankar Mishra.
In the school-level category, the team of Shreshtha and Akash Singh Yadav won the first prize, Aditya and
Utkarsh Tiwari
came second and
Sankalp
and Amog
Shukla secured the third position.
At college level, Rituraj Sharma and Akshay Sheel stood first, while Shashank Tiwari stood second. The team of Hem Mardiya and
Shubham Tiwari came third. This team also won the third position in the open level category.
The team of Abhishek Palliwal and Piyush Kedia came first in the open level category, while
Shashank Tyagi
and Shavabh Chakrvarti secured second position.
DM Abhishek Prakash said the quiz aim was to increase polling percentage this time.
