3 more FIRs against Ansals for property fraud
Lucknow: Trouble continues to mount for real estate firm Ansal API as three fresh FIRs were registered against the company at Sushant Golf City police station on Friday. The complainants alleged that the realtor neither registered the properties in their names nor handed over possession, despite taking substantial payments years ago.In the first case, Amit Gupta, a resident of Farrukhabad, stated that he met Ansal API directors Sushil Ansal and Pranav Ansal in 2010 to purchase a flat in one of the company's housing schemes. "I booked the flat in my name and that of my wife Shalini through a property broker and paid Rs 6.55 lakh. The company promised possession by 2014, but the apartment has neither been handed over nor registered till now," Gupta alleged. In the second complaint, a resident of Sector-6, Sushant Golf City, Rajesh Kumar Verma said he booked a 403sqft shop on the first floor of a commercial complex in June 2015. "I paid Rs 5 lakh, but the company has neither provided the shop nor carried out registration. Each time I asked for an update, I was dismissed with vague answers," Verma said. The third FIR was filed by Urmila Yadav, a resident of ITI telephone colony in Raebareli. She alleged that she booked a plot for resale from Ansal API in Aug 2016 and paid Rs 6 lakh. However, she never received possession of the property.Lucknow: Trouble continues to mount for real estate firm Ansal API as three fresh FIRs were registered against the company at Sushant Golf City police station on Friday.
