LUCKNOW: The Samajwadi farmer insurance and general insurance scheme will cover 15 crore farmers in the state, announced chief secretary
Rahul Bhatnagar on Thursday, adding that process has begun for issuing cards to the first 3 crore beneficiaries. As per the insurance scheme, the nominee will receive Rs 5 lakh in case of the policy holder's death while up to Rs 2.5lakh will be provided in case of illness for treatment.
The press note added that after inspecting the BRD Medical College and police stations in Gorakhpur, Bhatnagar met public and said a dialysis centre will be operational at the district hospital from November 18. He also reviewed the preparations for Dussehra which is coinciding with
