28-year-old woman cop ends life in Uttar Pradesh, hubby booked

LUCKNOW: A 28-year-old woman constable, Kokila Yadav committed suicide by hanging herself with a ceiling fan at her rented room in Balrampur district on Tuesday. The police have sent her body for a post-mortem examination.
Circle officer, Utraula, Uday Raj Singh told TOI that they found a suicide note from Kokila's room in which she has stated that her husband Vijay Yadav, who is also a constable and posted in Azamgarh, has a relationship with another woman.
The CO said that an FIR has been lodged against Yadav and an unidentified woman for abetment of suicide. "We have also arrested Vijay Yadav and a probe is underway. Vijay and Kokila were from the 2018 batch of UP police," he said.
