21-yr-old girl jumps to death

LUCKNOW: A final year student of gradutation reportedly committed suicide by jumping from the terrace of her house in Indiranagar locality under Ghazipur police station of the state capital on Tuesday evening.
Police reports said that Ranjana Singh (21) was pursuing her bachelor's degree (III year) at Eram Degree College. On Tuesday evening, she reportedly climbed up the terrace of her house and jumped off.She landed on the ground with multiple fracture injuries and was rushed to the Trauma Centre where she succumbed shortly thereafter.
Though no suicide note was found, police declared the incident as that of suicide on the basis of the statements of the victim's family. The body of the girl was sent for postmortem examination to confirm the cause of death and a case of suicide was lodged with the Ghazipur police in connection with the incident on Wednesday.
