Lucknow: Twenty gallantry award winners -- including seven Param Vir Chakra recipients, five Mahavir Chakra awardees, and eight widows of soldiers who laid down their lives in the line of duty, would be honoured at Times Samman in the city on Saturday.
The ceremony will be attended by defence minister Rajnath Singh, chief minister Yogi Adityanath, and senior army leadership.
The occasion aims to pay tribute to India’s bravest heroes while acknowledging the unwavering strength of families who have borne the loss of loved ones in service to the nation.
Special recognition will also be extended to initiatives supporting veterans and future leaders, with selected SSB cadets participating in the ceremony.
