The e-rickshaw driver, Lal Bahadur, who sustained fractures in his legs, is currently receiving treatment at SPIMS Hospital in Hazratganj. It was Bahadur who initially informed the CMS Anand Nagar branch's sports teacher about the accident.

Suman Pal, mother of two injured children, Nishant and Nancy, told reporters, "I had just sent my children to school. Within 10 minutes, we received the call about the accident. When I rushed to the scene, the e-rickshaw was completely damaged, and my children had already been taken to the hospital. While my daughter is stable, my son has sustained serious injuries."

Another parent, Renuka, mother of Shalini, said she was standing outside the school when she received the news. "When we reached the scene, we found the e-rickshaw overturned and my daughter unconscious," she recalled.
