12 IAS, 21 IPS transferred

LUCKNOW: The state government transferred 12 IAS officers on Sunday evening.
As per the transfer list, JN Chamber, principal secretary, planning, small scale industries, export promotion, programme implementation, handlooms and textile industry departments, has been given the additional responsibility of the chief minister’s office at her residence. Secretary, technical education department, Kamran Rizvi, has been given the additional charge of secretary, planning department.
Commissioner, Bareilly division, Majid Ali has been transferred to the post of principal secretary, women welfare and child development department.District magistrate, Mirzapur, Ramakant Shukla, has replaced Majid Ali. Responsibilities of Anil Sant, secretary, chief minister, who also has the charge of higher education, social welfare and finance departments and is resident commissioner of UP in New Delhi, have been reduced.
Commissioner, Lucknow Division, Prashant Trivedi, has been given the additional charge of secretary, finance department.
Commissioner, Varanasi division, Nepal Singh Ravi has been sent to Allahabad to take charge as member (judicial) revenue board, UP. He has been replaced by Ajay Kumar Upadhyay, who was working as commissioner, Allahabad division. Commissioner, Aligarh division, PV Jagmohan has been posted in place of Upadhyay. Secretary, home department, JB Sinha has replaced Jagmohan.
Meanwhile, in a major reshuffle, state government transferred 21 senior IPS officers on Sunday, including eight IG rank officers.
IG Moradabad range Gurubachan Lal has been shifted to Bareilly replacing Bhanu Pratap Singh, who goes to fire services in the same capacity, while IG intelligence headquarters Rajendra Pal Singh has been posted as IG Moradabad. IG Allahabad Chandra Prakash has been shifted to Meerut range replacing Javed Akhtar, who has been transferred to Varanasi. IG Varanasi Gurdarshan Singh has been shifted to PAC Lucknow in the same capacity and Subesh Kumar Singh, who has returned from deputation, has been posted as IG Allahabad.
IG fire services Harishchandra Singh has been shifted to intelligence headquarters while DIG ATS Allahabad Rajiv Sabbarwal, who was given the additional charge of SSP Bareilly during communal clashes there last month, has been relieved of the additional charge.
DIG Jhansi range NK Srivastava is new SSP Bareilly and will be replaced by DIG Railways Lucknow Sushil Kumar Singh. DIG MK Bashal, who was on the waiting list after being shifted out from Bareilly during the communal clashes, has been posted in the CB-CID department.
SP Gonda SK Bhagat has been shifted to Jaunpur replacing Ram Bharose, who goes to Bahraich in the same capacity. SP Bahraich Lalji Shukla has been shifted to Pratapgarh whereas SP intelligence Meerut Pankaj Sharma has been posted as SP Gonda.
