World blood donor day observed

Kozhikode: Corporation mayor Thottathil Raveendran inaugurated state level observation of world blood donor day at Malabar Christen College on Tuesday. Corporation councillor Thomas Mathew presided over the function.
The programme was organized jointly by the Kerala State Blood Transfusion Council, district medical office and state AIDS control society. A total of 35 persons also donated blood at a blood donation camp organized by the blood banks of Kozhikode general hospital and Kottaparamba Women and Children hospital on the day.
