Vedant Prakash Shenoy
loves to spend nights gazing at the stars from the rooftop of Bluebell apartments in Vadavathoor where he resides. The second rank holder in the
Kerala state engineering entrance examination has developed an intense passion for astronomy since April this year after attending an astronomy camp in Mumbai.
The 18-day camp had left a lasting impression on him and he now longs to be part of the
Astronomy Club
in Mumbai.Though he has won laurels in the Kerala en trance exam, the ultimate aim of the youngster is to join either mechanical or electrical departments in Mumbai
IIT where he wants to pursue his per sonal love -astronomy -along with studies. He has fared well in the IIT entrance also.
Vedant, who will turn 18 this July, is the lone child of Prakash Kumar, professor in the bio sciences department in
MG University
and Sheeba Ravi, who is the district sainik welfare officer. While pursuing his plus two course at K E School in Mannanam he also attended entrance coaching classes in Pala.
