Special bus services by KSRTC for Haj pilgrims

Transport minister A K Saseendran here on Friday said that transport department will launch special low-floor air conditioned buses from three Malabar districts to Cochin international airport at Nedumbassery to help those who conducting haj pilgrimage this year. The special services of Kerala State Road Transport Corporation low-floor AC buses will be conducted from August 21 to September 5.

Immediately after the accident, which occurred around 10.15am near Azad Market, the bus driver, Sunil Kumar, tried to flee but was caught by the crowd and handed over to police.

The special KSRTC bus services will be held from Malappuram, Thalassery and Kozhikode to Nedumbassery airport. The buses from Kozhikode will leave at 9.30 am and 9.45 am.
While the buses from Malappuram will commence its journey at 9.45 am and 11.30 am to Nedumbassery international airport. Minister also said that additional services from Thalassery to Kozhikode via Panoor route and Kozhikode to Kasaragd will also be conducted during the time.
