Samastha to look into campaigns against IUML
KOZHIKODE: Samastha's Abdussamad Pookottur said the organization will examine the incidents in which a section of persons (claiming to be Samastha's supporters) undertook political campaigning against the spirit of the traditional bonds between IUML and Samastha. He said they did so despite clear instructions against such moves by Samastha leadership.
"There is no doubt those who undertook such activities do not belong to Samastha. They are people who harbour anti-IUML sentiments in their minds and are posing as Samastha to create conflicts between Samastha and IUML," said the secretary of Sunni Yuvajana Sangham.
He said SKSSF's president and secretary had given a clarification that no one was given the task of ensuring IUML's defeat and work for the victory of a rival political party after it became clear that such a campaign had taken place in Ponnani.
"The organization is examining the matter and if it is found that anyone had acted in violation of the directives issued by the organization, then it will be discussed at the appropriate level and action will be taken," he added. Pookottur said such campaigns won't have an impact in Ponnani's electoral outcome. Responding to a question, he said that those who wish for a split between Panakkad family and Samastha will be disappointed.
"Panakkad family and top leaders of Samastha will sit together, hold talks and resolve issues," he said.
Senior Samastha leader Bahaudeen M Nadwi had lashed out against Left parties saying that they were publicly engaged in fake minority appeasement in state. Nadwi, a member of Samastha Mushavara, said communists, who were spreading false propaganda that minorities would become second-class citizens, were engaged in malicious activities.
IUML detractors in Samastha like Mushavara member Ummer Faizi Mukkam had made pro-CPM remarks following which Samastha president Syed Jifri Muthukoya Thangal and other leaders had come up with a statement saying that everyone should desist from unnecessary campaigns that would cause adversely affect the special bond between Samastha and IUML. tnn

As a proud prabudha mallu kit nakki communist I demand that my begging rights be restored by the central govt so that I can tour the world with Punarayi mon and compete with Pak Lanka and Maldives to beg loans from all and sundry. As a hardly working commie I am proud to have forced most entrepreneurs and industries to flees the state and chased away most hard working or intelligent malayalees to other states and EU and gulf and America. Now as a hardly working Nokkukooli licking commie I am not ashamed to be reduced to teaching Migrant workers malayalam and projects this stunt as a big achievement. We the commies have converted Kerala into a land of suisides and divorxees and drungards. We take oath that we will drive all hardworkers away and then use the money they send home, tax NRIs to the hilt through their homes and land and give pensions subsidies kits etc to all the great lazy prabudha nakkees.Read allPost comment
