No special facility for Nisham: DGP

Kannur: DGP (prisons) Rishiraj Singh said controversial businessman Mohammed Nisham, who is undergoing life imprisonment at the central prison here for killing security guard Chandrabose, has not been provided any special consideration in jail. He said this on the basis of a report by IG (prisons) H Gopakumar, who conducted a special probe into allegations that Nisham was provided special treatment. Nisham is lodged in a single cell in the high security 10th block to prevent any attack, the DGP said.
