Koodathayi murder: Police take Jolly to Ponnamattam house for recovery of evidence

The Special Investigation team took Jolly Joseph (47), the prime accused in the Koodathayi multiple murder case to Ponnamattam family house on Monday night for recovery of evidence. The woman was taken to Koodathayi by a forensic team led by Divya Gopinath, Superintendent of Police (ICT).

KOZHIKODE: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) took Jolly Joseph (47), the prime accused in the Koodathayi multiple murder case, to Ponnamattam family house on Monday night for recovery of evidence. The woman was taken to Koodathayi by a forensic team led by Divya Gopinath, superintendent of police (ICT).
Jolly was taken to the Ponnamattam house after hours-long interrogation in the presence of Shaju, her second husband.

It was the second time that the police took Jolly to Ponnamattam for recovering evidence.
The forensic experts took her to the house after a detailed examination of the spot by the team in the morning.
The police, on Friday also, had taken Jolly and other accused in the multiple murder case to Ponnamattam and other places for recovery of evidence.
In the meantime, the IUM has suspended VK Imbichi Moideen, vice president of Omassery grama panchayat, from the political party. His house and shop had been inspected by the police in connection with the case. They had also recovered some of the documents allegedly handed over by Jolly to him during the search.
