On Saturday, two persons from the district who returned from gulf on Thursday had been tested positive for Covid-19. A 39-year-old man from Chapanangadi near Kottakkal and a 24-year-old man from Naduvattom near Edappal are under treatment at medical college hospitals are Kalamassery and Kozhikode. The man who tested positive on Monday was working as Cashier in a vegetable sales centre at Al Jabil in Kuwait. He was taking treatment for diabetes for last three years.
