Verdict on plea of ADM’s kin likely on Dec 3

Kannur: The JFM court here on Tuesday heard the petition by former Kannur ADM Naveen Babu's wife K Manjusha, seeking its intervention to protect the vital evidence in the ADM's death case. The court is likely to pronounce the verdict on Dec 3.
The plea urges the court to instruct police and BSNL and Vodafone officials to preserve important evidence like phone call records of former Kannur district panchayat president PP Divya, district collector Arun K Vijayan and TV Prasanth, who applied for NOC for petrol pump, and CCTV footage from various locations where Babu visited after his controversial farewell.
Meanwhile, police told court that the phone records and CCTV footage from some key locations have already been collected. However, the counsel of ADM's family said that the police report was not satisfactory. tnn
