Areekode murder: Two more held

MALAPPURAM: Two persons have been arrested in connection with the twin murder case at Areekode, on Saturday. The arrested were Mahsoom (27), Shabeer alias Innikkuttan (20), both are natives of Kuniyil. According to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the murder of brothers Azad and Aboobacker on last Sunday night at Kuniyil town, Shabeer was the driver of the Tata Sumo van used by the murderers' gang.Mahsoom was a member of the attackers' gang. The duo would be produced before the judicial first class magistrate on Sunday, police said. tnnHowever, four persons , Faneesh, Fatheem, Fadal, and Anas who were arrested in connection with the case, on last day, produced before Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Manjeri and remanded into judicial custody for fourteen days.
