Woman stabbed at Sealdah station

KOLKATA: A young woman was stabbed to death on a platform at Sealdah station on Saturday. Her attacker then turned the knife on himself even as scores of passengers looked on horrified.
Asha Ghosh, 32, a Garia resident, bled to death within minutes. Her attacker, Girish Park resident Gautam Ghosh, is in NRS Hospital in a critical condition. The attack took place near a GRP booth on Platform No.3. The stabbing triggered panic at the station, leading to additional securitymen being deployed.
