Uri attacks as a case study discussed in international journalism workshop
KOLKATA: The Uri attacks are being discussed on educational campuses in the city. At The Heritage Academy-
The workshop witnessed participation of various students studying journalism in different colleges across Kolkata along with faculty members who had an urge to upgrade their knowledge with the modern techniques of journalism. Top journalists from across all media houses in the country and also abroad were invited to speak to students.

Apart from these, television journalism, blogging, digital media and search engine optimization techniques were also touched upon. “The workshop is an eye-opener for the students who aspire to make a career in journalism”, said Madhupa Bakshi, Dean, Department of Media Sciences of the Academy.
