KOLKATA: In a unique journey, the Tales and Tunes City Tour, a newly formed band, will travel across the most happening live gig destinations of Kolkata spreading the message of good music and melody.

Ayan Mukherjee and Friends to the City of Joy at Hashtagwaale last Thursday.
At the event, Ayan, a self obsessed music geek who says he can ‘literally’ leave everything else for his love for the tunes, sang a medley of originals and popular songs that got the crowd swaying.
They whirlwind tour of musical crescendos that started at Hashtagwaale will continue on at Delices, Backstage, Mocha and others.
Ayan will next perform at Delices, P596, Keyatala Rd, Gariahat on January 29.
Vocalist Ayan Mukherjee has been trained in Indian Classical Music under the tutelage of Guru SubhraGhosh and Guru Antara Chowdhury of Allahabad Gharana. After having performed in venues across the world including Garden State Puja Committee in New Jersey, Prabasi of New England in Watertown, Boston and Quency, Ayan is back in his hometown to create ripples with his music. In early 2015, Ayan released his debut album Tales and Tunes in association with Black and White records and has been distributed worldwide by Inreco.
The songs have been composed and arranged by Rajkumar Sengupta. The album features 6 songs comprising of both Hindi Pop and Modern Bengali songs and covers varied genres from semi-classical to pop to soft romantic numbers.
